Rural and remote sites
Satellite internet
Satellite internet for rural and remote sites where fixed-line services are slow, unreliable or unavailable, planned and installed properly.
Satellite done properly, from the mount to the router.
Satellite internet can be a strong option where fixed-line services are limited, slow or commercially impractical.
The install matters: clear sky, mounting, cabling, power, router placement and internal network handover all affect reliability.
We position satellite internet as part of a business connectivity plan, either as primary internet for rural sites or as a resilient backup path.
How it works
Review the site
We look at the property, mounting options, obstructions and how the service will connect into the business network.
Plan the handover
Router, Wi-Fi, cabling and failover requirements are documented so support is practical after installation.
Operate with context
We help the customer understand what satellite internet is good at, and where mobile or NBN may still be useful.
Common questions
What do you help with beyond the connection?
We review the site, plan mounting and cabling, connect the service to your router and Wi-Fi, and consider a backup path. The proposed network provider, equipment, plan limits and support arrangements are confirmed in your quote before you order.
Is satellite internet suitable for business use?
For many rural and difficult sites, yes. The right answer depends on sky visibility, business systems, support expectations and whether it is used as primary or backup internet.
Do you install the Satellite internet hardware?
We can help plan and coordinate the installation path, including mounting, cabling and router handover for suitable sites.
Can satellite internet replace NBN?
Sometimes. In other cases it works better as a backup or secondary path. We review the site before making that recommendation.
Not sure what your site needs?
